Arnie and I were baseball buddies. We played on the same team all through Jr. High at Allison. I remember when we were about 12 or 13 he tried to get me to chew Red Mule plug chewing tobacco. Knew my mom would kill me so I passed. Arnie was a quite person and as far as I know didn't make a lot of friends at West. One of the hardest things I did at that time was go to his funeral. I realize now how lucky we all are that he was willing to give his life to insure our freedom.

Thanks Arnie!
