Bradrick, Kenneth M., 63, retired
U.S. Navy and Technician at Graber's
Plumbing and Heating, went home to be with the Lord September 2, 2011. He was a member of Hillcrest Community Foursquare Church, avid sports enthusiast who was a big supporter of WSU, and graduated from Wichita High School West in 1966. Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Bradrick and his brother Tom Bradrick and first spouse Kathy Bradrick. Survivors are wife Susan, mother Ruth Bradrick, sons Kevin Michael (Jennifer) and Shaun (Wendy) Bradrick; daughters Elisa Wright, Danielle (Mitch) Boese, Michelle (Ray) McAllister; 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 6 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service is at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel. Memorials may be sent to the

Farol (WHS '68) and I are so sad to hear of Ken's passing this weekend. His wife, Susan Rawlins (WHS '67) sent us an e-mail just now. Susan and Ken reunited just six years ago. They had a love that lasted all these years. It was inspirational to see them so happy after spending so much of their lives apart. (See the picture in the next post.)
Ken introduced Farol (WHS '68) and me in 1967, so to say that he has a special place in our hearts would be an understatement. Farol and Susan had been close friends many years before that, so Susan has always been very special to us.
We pray for Susan's comfort in her loss and grief. We are thankful that we got to know Ken again in 2005 when Susan and Ken came to see us just as they were reunited. We love them both and will miss Ken.
